Ethemba Capital is a private equity firm founded in 2006 and specialising in emerging markets. While our primary focus is on Emerging, Central and South-Eastern Europe, we also cover the Middle East, Turkey, North and Southern Africa and the Indian sub-continent.

Our Success
Key to the success of Ethemba Capital is our entrepreneurial approach, our experience of years of investing in emerging markets, our commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and performance and our passion for adding value to the companies in which funds managed by Ethemba Capital invest. We access deal flow through our own direct deal sourcing capabilities as well as through our well-established networks in our target markets and relationships amongst the group of private equity firms operating in the emerging markets private equity arena. Established by individuals with extensive knowledge and experience gleaned from many years at senior levels with leading financial and legal institutions, Ethemba Capital advises funds of over €500 million. These funds are being deployed over a period of 4 to 5 years in 10 to 15 investments with the average equity invested per transaction ranging between €25 million and €40 million. Through our participant co-investment arrangements, we also have the ability to commit significantly larger amounts of capital to transactions, allowing us to execute transactions with an equity requirement in excess of several hundred million Euros.
